The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, has sent a Saudi ministerial delegation to Sudan in solidarity with him in the face of the current economic challenges.

President of the Republic of Sudan Omar Hassan al-Bashir received at the guest house on Thursday evening the Saudi ministerial delegation, which includes the Minister of Trade and Investment Dr. Majid bin Abdullah al-Qasabi, the Minister of Transport Dr. Nabil bin Mohammed Al-Amoudi and the Minister of State for African Affairs Ahmed bin Abd Dear Katan.

The Minister of Trade and Investment, Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al Qasabi, said that the visit of the delegation to Sudan came under the guidance of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to strengthen economic relations with Sudan and increase trade exchange, and revealed a clear plan of action and subsequent visit by Saudi businessmen to Sudan in this regard.

He said: The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques affirmed that the security of the Sudan is the security of the Kingdom and its stability is stability.

He stressed that the Kingdom has not and will not delay the support of Sudan and its people in recognition of his position towards the Kingdom and the great role played by the Sudanese in supporting the education process in Saudi Arabia.

He pointed out that the Kingdom has provided more than 23 billion loans for development projects in the Republic of Sudan, which promotes ties of brotherhood and cooperation for the benefit of the two brotherly peoples, eight billion of them in the last four years. He pointed out that this was due to duty, and that there are development programs, loans, Under study in the framework of cooperation between the two countries.
