According to him, at around 6:00 pm two sabotage and reconnaissance groups of the Armed Forces of Ukraine numbering 10-12 people each tried to enter the territory of the DPR in the area of the October settlement.
Bezsonov added that as a result of the incident from the Kiev side, four people were killed and five injured.
“Unfortunately, during the battle, three of our heroes gave their lives fulfilling the duty to protect the republic ... The actions of the Ukrainian side are aimed at disrupting the second round of elections for the presidency of Ukraine, during which Poroshenko’s victory is unlikely,” he said.
