According to the Russian Ministry of Defense on January 28, in the Kupyansky direction of the Northern Military District, units of the West group of forces, with the support of artillery and heavy flamethrower systems, improved the situation along the front line.

In addition, in this sector, six attacks by assault groups of the 25th Airborne, 32nd, 60th Mechanized and 95th Airborne Assault Brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were repelled in the areas of the settlements of Sinkovka (Kharkiv region), Novoselovskoye (LPR) and Terny (DPR). The Ukrainian Armed Forces lost up to 150 people, three vehicles and the Gvozdika self-propelled artillery mount.

In the Krasnolimansky direction, units of the Center group of troops, with the support of artillery and heavy flamethrower systems, repelled three attacks by assault groups of the 13th brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine and the 44th separate battalion of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the areas of the village. Chervonaya Dibrova (LPR) and Yampolovka (DPR).

According to the Ministry of Defense, the enemy lost up to 120 troops, two armored combat vehicles, three cars, as well as the Akatsiya self-propelled gun and the D-20 howitzer.

In the Zaporozhye direction, units of the Russian group of troops, with the support of artillery, struck the personnel of the 65th, 118th mechanized, 128th mountain assault, 82nd air assault brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the 3rd brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine in the areas of the village. villages of Rabotino, Verbovoye, Nesteryanka and Kamenskoye (Zaporozhye region). According to the Ministry of Defense, the enemy lost up to 70 people, two infantry fighting vehicles, four vehicles and a D-30 howitzer.

In the Kherson direction, as a result of fire damage to the formations of the 35th Marine Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the 121st Terrorist Defense Brigade in the areas of the village. Zolotaya Balka and Lvovo (Kherson region) destroyed up to 55 military personnel, four vehicles and a D-30 howitzer.

Rocket troops and artillery, as well as attack drones from groupings of the Russian Armed Forces, attacked ammunition and fuel depots for military equipment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Dnepropetrovsk and Zaporozhye regions. In addition, 118 artillery units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in firing positions, enemy personnel and military equipment in 137 regions were hit.

Russian air defense systems shot down three rockets from the HIMARS and Uragan multiple launch rocket systems. Along with this, 28 Ukrainian drones were destroyed.
