The Elysee announced Sunday evening March 31 the entry into the government of Sibeth Ndiaye, Amelie de Montchalin and Cédric O.

Sibeth Ndiaye, close associate of Emmanuel Macron in charge of the press, was appointed secretary of state spokesman of the government.

Essential and indispensable to the victorious candidate she accompanies everywhere, Sibeth Ndiaye is part of the first circle of Emmanuel Macron. Their collaboration began at Bercy when he became Minister of the Economy. She was then in the press service of her predecessor Arnaud Montebourg after working with Claude Bartolone at the Seine-Saint-Denis General Council.

LaRM MP Amélie de Montchalin becomes Secretary of State for European Affairs. Elected MP in the 2017 legislative elections in the sixth constituency of Essonne, she is since 2018 first vice-president of the group LaREM.

Cédric O, advisor to the head of state for digital, becomes Secretary of State for Digital.

The three entrants, whose first government experience is for each of them, replace Benjamin Griveaux (Spokesperson), Nathalie Loiseau (European Affairs) and Mounir Mahjoubi (Numérique) respectively, who left because of their electoral ambitions.
