It is noted that the bus carrying members of the party of the ex-President of Peru, Alan Garcia, collided with a fence when politicians were going to the funeral of the former head of the country.
In total, the bus carried 54 passengers.
In September 2018, at least 21 people died in Peru and 15 were injured in an accident involving a bus near the city of Cusco.
