RIA Novosti reports this with reference to the traffic police department of the Amur region.
According to the department, the as yet unidentified driver of the Honda Fit lost control, drove off the roadway, hit an obstacle, and the car overturned, after which he ran away.
“As a result of the car accident, a female passenger born in 1988 died at the scene from her injuries, two minor passengers born in 2010 and 2007 were injured. The driver fled the scene,” the report says.
It is clarified that the driver is currently being sought.
Earlier it was reported that in the Leningrad region a school bus slid into a ditch and overturned on its side. At the time of the accident, there were eight children in the vehicle.
