Speaking at ASEM, the Asia - Europe summit, Moon Jae - in emphasized that peace on the Korean Peninsula will contribute to peace and prosperity for the whole of Eurasia.

The two sides held separate bilateral talks with Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Mr. Merkel, who is a permanent member of the UN Security Council, and Mr. Merkel, the EU - led country, and the main agenda was a plan to denuclearize the Korean peninsula.

The UN Security Council has called for discussions on the need for humanitarian assistance and sanctions on North Korea if North Korea makes irreversible progress in denuclearization.
