According to the court, they told the woman that for a bribe they would allegedly be able to organize a mitigation of the preventive measure for her convicted husband on house arrest.
“The court sentenced the defendants to imprisonment for a term of six years three months to six years six months to be served in a general regime correctional colony,” the statement said.
Earlier, the Savyolovsky Court of Moscow arrested the senior operational duty officer of the Internal Affairs Directorate for the Northern Administrative District of Moscow Valery Shcheglov for accepting a bribe.
