As noted, the Ambassador of the Netherlands, Renee Jones-Bos was invited "in connection with the ongoing campaign to spy on spy mania."

"The attention of the Dutch side was attracted to the inadmissibility of provoking mass speculation through the media, including those concerning the most acute problems of international politics, which could cause additional damage to the already weakened bilateral relations," the report said.

Also at the Foreign Ministry was called the Swiss ambassador in Moscow, Yves Rossier, who was asked to explain "in connection with the sounding in recent days in Switzerland, unsubstantiated allegations against" Russia in increasing the activity of Russian special services.

The diplomats pointed out to the ambassador that the continuation of such rhetoric could damage the constructively developing relations between the two countries.

On September 17, it became known that the Swiss side had tightened the procedure for considering accreditation for Russian diplomats.
