After more than two and a half years, travel to Japan with foreign cruise ships is now possible again.

The new guidelines include requiring at least 95 per cent of passengers to be vaccinated against Covid at least twice.

More than 160 landings in Japan have already been registered for the coming year.

The government is counting on more international tourists to boost the economy.
