Since the beginning of this year, Suining County has cleaned up 131,500 tons of garbage, 1,950 ponds, 796.75 kilometers of ditches, and 3,446.6 tons of agricultural waste such as livestock and poultry manure. It has built 13 provincial and municipal characteristic rural villages and 518 beautiful and livable villages. 8,092 three-star beautiful courtyards and 2,158 four-star beautiful courtyards have been created.

Since 2021, Suining County has invested more than 79 million yuan in the rural cleaning system and garbage classification every year, and the annual long-term management and protection funds for 388 rural areas totaled 38.8 million yuan for the management and protection of rural public toilets, village environment, garden greening and other infrastructure.

After the "Plan for the Creation of Beautiful and Happy Rivers and Lakes in Suining County in 2022" was issued, the county has completed earthwork dredging and slope protection for 62 ecological river courses of 309.25 kilometers, and the overall greening rate of the river courses has reached 65%.

　　In recent years, Suining County has successively invested 170 million yuan to build 37 biogas stations with a total volume of 49,000 cubic meters of biogas anaerobic fermentation units, forming an ecological circular agricultural industry system linked by biogas.

Gaodang Biogas Station in Yaoji Town takes the biogas project as the hub, turns wastes from the surrounding livestock and poultry manures into treasures, produces green organic fertilizers, and supplies them to the surrounding farmland and ecological parks.

About 6,500 tons of livestock and poultry manure and about 400 tons of agricultural waste are digested and utilized annually, and the annual output of biogas is about 370,000 cubic meters, which can meet the needs of 660 households in Gaodang Community. At the same time, the annual output of biogas slurry and biogas residue is about 20,000 tons .
