The Tokyo Metropolitan Government announced that it has confirmed that 639 new people are infected with the new coronavirus in Tokyo at the preliminary figures as of 3:00 pm on the 6th.
It is the 9th consecutive day that the number of confirmed infections per day falls below 1000.
This brings the total number of confirmed infections in Tokyo to 103,416.
