Most of them have no papers. Nearly 500 sex workers are said to work every day in the Bois de Boulogne, west of Paris. Carrying out this activity since their adolescence, they often suffered a lot of discrimination in their life. Most of them from South America, these women are exposed to many dangers, up to and including fatal assault, like that of Vanesa Campos in 2018 or Jessyca Sarmiento in early 2020.

Camille Courcy, reporter for our partner Brut, met several of them. They tell him about their daily life.
