Singer Prince at the 2004 Grammy Awards - Los Angeles Times / Polaris / Starface

To celebrate the four years of Prince's death, the Grammys recorded a tribute concert to the musician in January, broadcast on CBS yesterday. Many artists have performed there, starting with The Revolution, his group from 1979 to 1986, with whom the artist recorded some of his biggest successes, including Purple Rain.

Beck, Earth, Wind & Fire and John Legend also took the stage. The husband Chrissy Teigen offered a very inhabited interpretation of  Nothing Compares 2 U .

Memorable performances

The rock side of Prince was not neglected either, with a breathtaking performance from Foo Fighters, who split the controversial Darling Nikki .

Chris Martin, meanwhile, sang a quieter version of Manic Monday .

Prince died on April 21, 2016, from an accidental overdose of opiates. He was 57 years old.
