China News Service, Tianjin, March 2 (China News Palace Hongyu) In the Beijing-Tianjin Zhongguancun Science and Technology City after the new year, enthusiasm for resumption of work is in full swing.
The high-tech companies that were transferred from Beijing are ready to go and invest in R&D and production in the new year.
As one of the representative "landmarks" in the coordinated development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, Beijing-Tianjin Zhongguancun Science and Technology City is a microcosm of the integrated development of Beijing-Tianjin industries.
In the past ten years, with the continuous advancement of coordinated development and industrial transfer between Beijing and Tianjin, more and more innovative seeds have been sown in Tianjin, and the concept of "Beijing R&D, Tianjin Results" has changed from a blueprint to a reality.

From "laboratory" to "big factory"
Boyu (Tianjin) Semiconductor Materials Co., Ltd. is a scientific and technological enterprise engaged in the research, development and manufacturing of semiconductor trial production equipment.
In 2017, considering the company's future development, Boyu moved from Tongzhou, Beijing to the Beijing-Tianjin Zhongguancun Science and Technology City in Baodi, Tianjin to build a factory.
"For the manufacturing industry, there must be space for equipment and experiments," Xu Mengjian, deputy general manager of Boyu (Tianjin), was recently interviewed by a media group for the "Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei coordinated development 10th anniversary online theme promotion event" He said that when the company was in Beijing, it was limited by lack of space and many equipment could not be accommodated.
After arriving in Baodi, Tianjin, the company built a beautiful factory building, and a number of projects that could not be implemented in Beijing were able to be carried out.
Xu Mengjian said that at present, Boyu has formed a collaboration model with the Tongzhou headquarters in Beijing as the "R&D brain" and the Tianjin company as the production base.
With the advantageous resources and convenient transportation in Beijing and Tianjin, the company not only has more and more innovative achievements, its production capacity has reached the world's leading level, and its products are also exported to Europe, the United States and other countries.
Chen Huangshi, general manager of Zhongkebaike (Tianjin) Biopharmaceuticals, also has similar feelings.
Fourteen years ago, Zhongbaike started from a laboratory in Beijing's Zhongguancun Life Science Park. However, as Zhongbaike's recombinant canine interferon α obtained a new drug certificate, the need for Zhongbaike's vaccine trials and industrial production increased. Therefore, the management team decided to build a factory in Baodi, Tianjin.
"Tianjin's land, labor, and operating costs are lower than those in Beijing. Building a factory in Tianjin is very cost-effective, and the soil here is also very suitable for technological innovation." Chen Huangshi told China News Service.
"10 times", a number mentioned by Chen Huangshi caught the attention of the visitors.
He said that since Zhongkebaike moved to the Science and Technology City, the area of its R&D laboratory has increased 10 times compared to the Beijing laboratory, and its scientific research capabilities have been greatly enhanced.
Chen Huangshi mentioned that after five or six years of development, Zhongkebaike has built a high-standard and professional pet biological products factory in the Beijing-Tianjin Zhongguancun Science and Technology City, and four or five new drugs developed in Tianjin are about to obtain certificates.
With the help of the "Twin Cities" collaboration, Zhongkebaike has achieved leapfrog development.
Collaborative development attracts talents from the east
In Xu Mengjian’s memory, when he first arrived at the Beijing-Tianjin Zhongguancun Science and Technology City in 2017, it was still a stretch of farmland.
In just six years, the Science and Technology City has achieved a "new look", with high-rise buildings and factories rising from the ground, and industrial development flourishing.
Up to now, Beijing-Tianjin Zhongguancun Science and Technology City has introduced 1,525 business entities and signed 176 physical projects, including 39 land purchase projects and 137 carrier investment projects. It has initially formed high-end equipment manufacturing, new energy and new materials, artificial intelligence and There are four major industrial clusters: intelligent manufacturing, biomedicine and medical equipment.
Behind this report card, it is inseparable from Baodi District’s support for the industrial development and talent introduction of the science and technology city, as well as the convenience brought by the coordinated development of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei.
Han Shuai, deputy director of the Management Committee of Beijing-Tianjin Zhongguancun Science and Technology City, said in an interview with China News Service that in recent years, in order to retain talents and develop industries well, Beijing-Tianjin Zhongguancun Science and Technology City has launched 10 talent plans to facilitate the settlement of talents and Medical treatment and children’s education, etc.
At the same time, Baodi District has also built hundreds of talent apartments for the science and technology city that can be moved in with a bag.
“Many employees say they feel like home when they come to Baodi.” According to Xu Mengjian, many Boyu employees have settled down in Baodi. With the support of the government, their children’s education and parents’ pension are also well provided. solution.
At the same time, with the opening of the Beijing-Tangshan and Beijing-Binzhou high-speed railways, Baodi’s transportation network connecting Beijing and Hebei has become increasingly dense, making commuting for Science and Technology City employees and company cargo transportation more convenient.
He Ping, manager of the R&D department of Zhongkebaike, said that he works in the Science and Technology City during the day on weekdays and returns to Beijing to live in the evenings and weekends. Commuting is "not a problem at all."
"It only takes 45 minutes to drive from our Tongzhou headquarters to Beijing-Tianjin Zhongguancun Science and Technology City, which is shorter than the time to Beijing Zhongguancun. This adds a lot of convenience to our collaboration between Beijing and Tianjin." Xu Mengjian also mentioned.

Industrial collaboration stimulates innovation momentum
Beijing-Tianjin Zhongguancun Science and Technology City is a microcosm of Beijing-Tianjin industrial cooperation.
As an important chapter in the coordinated development of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, the picture of promoting industrial upgrading and stimulating innovation momentum through cross-city collaboration has been rolled out in many places in Tianjin.
In the Beijing-Tianjin Industrial New City located in Wuqing District, Tianjin, the industrial spatial layout of "one core leading, multiple points of support, and global linkage" has gradually taken shape.
The coordinated development of featured industries in one district and six parks is accelerating. A number of smart technology and innovative biomedical companies have gathered here. From pharmaceuticals to high-end medical equipment to health services, the entire life and health industry chain has been accelerated, connecting Beijing and Tianjin. The blessed land has become a hot land for development.
The Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Integrated Business District located in Hongqiao District is also developing rapidly.
Not long after the start of the new year, good news came about the construction of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Integrated Business District - the second Sam's Club store in Tianjin was officially signed and settled in Hongqiao, becoming the first high-end commercial project signed and implemented in the core area of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Integrated Business District.
In recent years, the "station, industry and city" integrated hub with Tianjin West Railway Station as the core has been continuously improved, and the urbanization effect of Beijing and Tianjin has continued to appear, injecting new impetus into the development of Hongqiao District.
In the past ten years since the coordinated development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei has been elevated to a national strategy, Tianjin’s scientific and technological innovation has been “fruitful”, Beijing-Tianjin cooperation is vigorous, and the industrial integration of the two cities has created a magnificent picture.
Not only that, many Tianjin companies have also established close cooperation with Hebei enterprises in the industrial chain, promoting the integration and symbiosis of the industries in the three places.
In the future, industries in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region will be more closely connected, further providing a solid industrial foundation for building a world-class urban agglomeration.
