CCTV news:

In February 2014, the coordinated development of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei was elevated to a national strategy.

In the past ten years, transportation integration has taken the lead in making breakthroughs, and the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region on the rails has accelerated.

By the end of 2023, the operating mileage of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei railways will exceed 11,000 kilometers, and high-speed rail will fully cover prefecture-level cities.

The increasingly dense rail transit network is changing the pace of life and industrial layout of people in this region.

Just after the Spring Festival, Li Jianhe, executive chairman of the Xiongan New Area Federation of Science and Technology Innovation Enterprises, started to be busy at his company in Xiongan. He often catches the early high-speed train and gets to Xiongan from Beijing in 50 minutes.

What makes Li Jianhe feel more convenient is the Beijing-Xiongan intercity railway that opened to traffic at the end of 2020. After more than three years of operation, there are 36 trains running between Beijing West and Xiongan Station every day.

Also on the day when the Beijing-Xiongan intercity railway was opened, Han Junjia, the EMU driver of the Beijing Locomotive Depot of the National Railway Beijing Bureau, walked into the cab of the Beijing-Xiongan intercity train.

Han Junjia said that he has been driving for 32 years and has 9 driver's licenses. From steam locomotives to Fuxing, he has driven a total of 35 types of cars.

After arriving in Jingxiong, he didn't have a new driver's license, but everything was brand new. He said he was very motivated.

The motivation in Han Junjia's mind stems from the constant changes in rail transit in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region in his eyes.

In the past ten years, rail lines in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region have been continuously densely packed, including the Beijing-Xiongan intercity railway.

The Beijing-Tianjin intercity railway has been extended to Tianjin Binhai Station, the Beijing-Zhangjiakou high-speed railway has been completed and opened to traffic, the Beijing-Tangshan intercity railway, the Beijing-Tianjin intercity railway from Baodi to Beichen have been put into operation, and the Tianjin-Xingzhou intercity railway has been put into operation.

The total mileage of high-speed rail in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region has increased from 1,284 kilometers in 2013 to 2,624 kilometers.

The rapid advancement of half-hour and one-hour intercity transportation circles will better support Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei in building a world-class urban agglomeration.

Li Jianhe's company is also growing like the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei rail transit network.

Since its launch in Xiongan seven years ago, it has now provided industry landing and resource docking services to hundreds of companies in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, building a bridge for industrial interaction among the three places.

In the past ten years, the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei transportation circle has continued to intensify, industrial chains have been deeply integrated, and trade chains have collaborated with each other.

Data shows that Zhongguancun companies have set up more than 9,700 branches in Tianjin and Hebei, and there are more than 5,100 companies registered in the Daxing International Airport Airport Economic Zone.

The total economic output of the three places has exceeded 10 trillion yuan, and the overall regional strength has reached a new level, injecting vigorous impetus into high-quality economic development.

Promote the construction of major transportation projects and improve the layout of transportation networks

As the basic transportation network continues to intensify and transportation service efficiency continues to improve, in the next step, the Ministry of Transport will also promote the construction of major transportation projects, promote the construction of the "new two wings" comprehensive transportation system, and continuously improve the comprehensive transportation network in the three provinces and cities of Beijing, Tianjin, and Hebei. layout.

In terms of highways, the transportation department will speed up the construction of the Tanglang Expressway and the on-site reconstruction project of the East Sixth Ring Road, and promote the transfer of the capital's transit freight function outwards.

In terms of railways, the construction of the high-speed rail from Xiongan New Area to Shangqiu and Xinzhou and the express line to Daxing Airport is also accelerating.

At present, the multi-purpose berth project of the second port pool in the eastern area of Caofeidian Port Area of Tangshan Port and the multi-purpose terminal container reconstruction project of Huanghua Port Comprehensive Port Area are steadily advancing.

In terms of civil aviation, the Ministry of Transport is promoting the implementation of the third phase of Tianjin Binhai Airport, the third phase of Shijiazhuang Airport reconstruction and expansion project, and the Tangshan Airport reconstruction and expansion project.

A multi-node grid-based transportation network with full coverage is basically completed

The reporter learned from the Ministry of Transport that over the past ten years since the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei coordinated development strategy was implemented, transportation infrastructure construction has been accelerated, transportation services have continued to be coordinated and linked, the construction of world-class port clusters and airport clusters has been accelerated, and the comprehensive transportation channel pattern has been continuously improved.

A multi-node, grid-based, and full-coverage transportation network has been basically completed, and the transportation support capacity of key areas has been significantly enhanced.

Data shows that the total operating mileage of urban rail transit in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region reaches 1,208.6 kilometers.

The orbital connection between Beijing and surrounding satellite cities and functional bearing areas is more convenient, and it can reach Xiongan, Tianjin and Baoding in one hour.

A large number of expressways including Beijing-Taiwan, Beijing-Xiong, Beijing-Kunming, and Tianjin-Shijiazhuang have been completed and opened to traffic. High-grade highways in the Beijing-Tianjin area have basically achieved full coverage. The total mileage of expressways in the three provinces and cities of Beijing, Tianjin, and Hebei has reached approximately 11,000 kilometers.

At present, the layout of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei airport cluster with "dual core, two wings and multiple nodes" has been completed.

The opening of Daxing Airport, the international hub status of Capital Airport has been further enhanced, and the support capabilities of Tianjin Binhai and Shijiazhuang Zhengding Airports have continued to improve, forming a pattern of coordinated division of labor and differentiated development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei airport cluster.

In terms of ports, the throughput capacity of Hebei Province's ports has been steadily improved. A large number of key projects such as the Tianjin Port North Channel and Tangshan Port Xintian LNG Terminal have been completed. The scale and professionalism of the ports have been further improved.

The world-class airport cluster in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei is “taking off”

In recent years, with the implementation of the coordinated development strategy of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, the world-class airport cluster in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region has continued to be optimized and has initially formed a unified management and differentiated development pattern.

With the improvement of regional transportation facilities, Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei has become more closely connected and has become a "new engine" that facilitates people's travel and drives regional economic and social development.

In the Langfang City Terminal of Beijing Daxing International Airport, there is an endless stream of passengers checking in.

Passenger Yu Peizhong, who lives in Langfang City, is checking in for a flight and preparing to go to Guangzhou for school.

By scanning his ID, printing his boarding pass, and checking in his luggage, Yu Peizhong quickly completed all the pre-boarding procedures and boarded the free bus directly to the airport.

The Langfang City Terminal where Yupizhong is located not only connects to Daxing Airport conveniently and quickly, but is also the first city terminal in North China to serve the "three places and three airports" of the capital, Daxing and Tianjin. By the end of 2023, it has served a total of passengers 242,600 visitors.

In 2014, Tianjin Airport T2 Terminal and Metro Line 2 were opened simultaneously, realizing "zero-distance transfer" of rail transit from Tianjin Airport to Beijing South Railway Station.

In 2019, Shijiazhuang Airport handled 1.3 million air-rail combined passengers, accounting for 10.9% of the airport’s passenger flow.

In the past ten years, Beijing Daxing Airport, Qinhuangdao Beidaihe Airport, Chengde Airport, etc. have been completed and put into operation. The main airport groups in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei have achieved integrated operation management and operational coordination, and the three-level airport echelon of "dual core + dual auxiliary + multi-node" has taken shape. form.

Data shows that in 2019, the passenger throughput of airports in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region reached 147 million, the total number of routes reached 1,156, and 348 destinations were accessible. A world-class airport group is "taking off."
