The C919 large passenger aircraft is my country's first mainline jet aircraft independently developed in accordance with internationally accepted airworthiness standards and with independent intellectual property rights. On May 28, 2023, C919 successfully completed its first commercial flight. China Eastern Airlines is the world's first user of the domestically produced C919 large passenger aircraft and is currently the world's largest user. As of now, 4 C919s have been officially delivered to China Eastern Airlines.
Shanghai Aircraft Manufacturing Co., Ltd., registered in Yangshan Special Comprehensive Bonded Zone, is an important entity in the development of large aircraft projects. It currently has two production bases in Pudong and Dachang with different functions, which are located inside and outside the Yangshan Special Comprehensive Bonded Zone. They are close to the customs. Regulation raises individualized demands.

Recently, two domestically produced C919 aircraft took off from Pudong Airport and Hongqiao Airport respectively and arrived at Singapore Changi International Airport to participate in the 2024 Singapore Airshow held in Singapore from February 20 to 25. During the air show, five domestically produced aircraft, including the above-mentioned two C919s, will meet the public. This is the first time that a domestically produced large aircraft will appear in a "group" overseas.
In order to ensure that the C919 aircraft arrives as scheduled and successfully participates in the exhibition, Shanghai Customs carefully guarantees and provides a series of facilitated supervision services. In view of the special flight of one of the C919 aircraft carrying bonded aviation materials, which took off from Shanghai and stopped in Sanya before continuing to Singapore, Pudong Airport Customs and Sanya Airport Customs established a liaison and cooperation mechanism to ensure coordinated front- and back-haul supervision. Hongqiao Airport Customs has opened a green customs declaration channel to provide "one-stop" services for the registration, declaration and export of bonded aviation materials for exhibitors. The two customs completed the outbound supervision of a total of 2,264 pieces of spare parts such as maintenance aviation materials. (over)
