Affected by the combined promotion effects of "visiting relatives and returning home" during this year's Spring Festival and the "hot cultural tourism market in Hubei", Wuhan Tianhe Airport continues to operate at a high level. During the Spring Festival this year, overtime services were arranged on routes from Wuhan to Chengdu, Guangzhou, Beijing, Haikou, Shenzhen, Kunming, Shanghai, and Harbin. The passenger capacity of the routes increased significantly compared with before the Spring Festival, and the average passenger load factor reached more than 90%. At the same time, the airport has increased the number of international routes to Bangkok, Sabah, Tokyo and other places, and restored routes to Nha Trang and Ho Chi Minh City. The average daily passenger throughput in international areas has reached 4,000 passengers.
In addition, Tianhe Airport continues to provide transfer passengers with "Ten Free Benefits" transfer value-added services, which has led to a significant increase in transfer passengers to Han. The average daily transfer passengers have increased from 3,000 at the beginning of the year to 7,000. At the same time, Tianhe Airport and China Railway Wuhan Bureau Group Co., Ltd. have jointly created the "Air-rail Intermodal Transport Handa Jiuzhou" brand.
