According to him, Rosatom is also close to the physical launch of a nuclear power plant in Turkey. Likhachev noted that commissioning work there will be completed by the end of the year.

The head of Rosatom also spoke about a number of agreements with other countries that are at the stage of high readiness.

“Our Belarusian partners are talking about whether we should look at the third block of the new station; the Turkish government is negotiating with us about another four-block station,” TASS quotes Likhachev.

Earlier, the head of Rosatom spoke about the threat of a nuclear accident at the Zaporizhia NPP. According to him, it can only come from the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
