  According to reports, this survey is one of the most representative samples of German business sentiment in China.

Between September 5 and October 6, 2023, a total of 566 member companies of the German Chamber of Commerce in China accepted this survey.

  The report stated that the economic relations between Germany and China have provided millions of job opportunities for both countries. China's huge consumer market, advanced supply chain infrastructure and increasingly strong innovation status have made China an extremely important market for many German companies. One of the markets.

  However, the report also points out that German companies in China face challenges from the competitiveness growth of local companies.

Therefore, German companies in China have taken actions to strengthen the diversification and localization of supply chains and business operations.

  The report also pointed out that despite the more severe global market environment, 91% of the companies surveyed have no plans to leave China, 78% of the companies expect that their industry will continue to grow in the next five years, and 54% of the companies plan to increase investment.
