According to reports, Hainan has achieved "doubling in three years" since it exceeded the 100 million express delivery business volume mark for the first time in 2020. In 2023, Hainan's express delivery business volume will exceed 100 million items in the first five months and in the first ten months. It has exceeded the total for 2022 and exceeded 200 million pieces for the first time in history.
The reporter learned that over the past year, Hainan has continued to promote the construction of a rural delivery logistics system. The coverage rate of "express delivery to villages" exceeds 95%, and county-level public distribution centers have been built to cover 80% of counties.
In 2023, the express delivery business in rural areas will collect more than 22 million items and deliver more than 100 million items, a year-on-year increase of 52% and 44% respectively. Cultivated mangoes with a cumulative collection and delivery volume of more than 10 million items and jackfruit, rich and noble items with a cumulative volume of more than 1 million items. There are more than 8 modern agricultural demonstration projects for bamboo and other express delivery services, driving an output value of nearly 3 billion yuan.
At the same time, Hainan's express delivery business industry synergy has been further enhanced.
The postal management system of Hainan Province actively guides enterprises to speed up the construction of parks and hub facilities. YTO Hainan headquarters and aviation hub center are put into operation, ZTO Hainan headquarters and aviation hub center and other projects have started construction, and JD.com Danzhou intelligent e-commerce operation center has accelerated the implementation.
Guiding the Postal Service and SF Express to continue operating four domestic all-cargo routes including "Haikou-Nanjing", Cainiao, SF Express, and Civil Aviation continue to operate four international freight routes including "Haikou-Singapore-Jakarta". Guide the integrated development of "express delivery into factories" with processing and manufacturing industries such as specialty food, medicine, jewelry and handicrafts, and cultivate more than 10 express delivery service manufacturing projects with business revenue exceeding one million yuan, driving an output value of nearly 1 billion yuan.
According to the Hainan Provincial Postal Administration, this year the postal management departments of Hainan province will solidly implement postal tasks related to customs closure operations, continue to promote the comprehensive pilot of Hainan digital post, further promote "express delivery into villages", accelerate the promotion of "express delivery into factories", and actively promote "Express delivery overseas" to improve governance capabilities.
It is expected that in 2024, the express delivery business volume and business income of the postal industry in Hainan Province will reach 235 million pieces and 4.13 billion yuan respectively, with a growth rate of about 10%.
