The Lufthansa Group is still looking for a large number of workers. This year, too, the company plans to hire around 13,000 people in a wide variety of professions, the company announced. This is roughly in line with the new hires from the previous year.

Following the complete sale of the catering company LSG, around 95,000 people in 90 countries work for the company. At present, we are looking for employees for cabin (3500), cockpit (1000), technology (2000) and information technology (900), among others. There are also many vacancies for ground staff in Munich and Frankfurt.

About two-thirds of new hires have replaced departing workers in the past. One-third are additional employees. The company's focus is on being an attractive employer, explained Chief Human Resources Officer Michael Niggemann.
