The seminar, hosted by the China Business Council for Sustainable Development and the GoldenBee Think Tank, was strongly supported by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, the China Association of Fragrances, Flavors and Cosmetics Industries, the China Association for the Promotion of Nuclear Safety and Environmental Culture, and the world. The experts and scholars at the meeting discussed the trend of corporate sustainable development information disclosure and the value exploration of corporate social responsibility reports.

At present, as the world economy enters a new stage of green recovery, corporate sustainable development information disclosure has ushered in new developments. It is of more important significance for enterprises to adjust the disclosure strategy of sustainable development information in a timely manner according to the needs of social development.
Zhai Qi believes that with the increasing attention of stakeholders to the disclosure of sustainable development information of domestic enterprises, higher requirements have been put forward for enterprises to fulfill their social responsibilities.
It is understood that in order to promote the improvement of corporate social responsibility, the disclosure of global corporate sustainable development information is moving towards consistency and rationality, and high-quality sustainable development reports are emerging.
Yan Jiangying, chairman of the China Fragrance, Flavor and Cosmetics Industry Association, said at the seminar that the public disclosure of corporate sustainable development information will not only help enterprises accept external supervision, but also strengthen communication and cooperation with stakeholders, enhance the social image and reputation of enterprises, fulfill corporate social responsibility, and promote the high-quality development of the entire industry.

During the seminar, the organizers released the "GoldenBee Corporate Social Responsibility Report Rating System" and "GoldenBee 2023 Excellent Corporate Social Responsibility Report", and also held a roundtable forum on the theme of "ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) Information Disclosure and Rating Improvement", a special forum on "The Emerging Value of Climate Information Disclosure", and a special forum on "Overseas Sustainable Development Information Disclosure".
Experts at the meeting said that China's "dual carbon" goal puts forward higher requirements for enterprises to disclose information on sustainable development such as environmental protection, and also brings new development opportunities to enterprises, and at the same time has a positive effect on the image and reputation of China's "going global" enterprises.
