Camellia oleifera is one of the world's four major woody oil crops, which can be made into China's unique pure natural high-grade edible oil. As one of the central production areas of Camellia oleifera in China, Jiangxi Province ranks second in the country in terms of Camellia oleifera resource area and output. As one of the 35 key counties (districts) of Camellia oleifera in Jiangxi Province, in recent years, Ganxian District has vigorously developed the Camellia oleifera industry and made every effort to build the brand body of "Camellia oleifera in southern Gansu", so that "small oil fruit" can become a "golden fruit" to promote farmers' income and boost rural revitalization.

Early in the morning, Liu Xiaoying, a villager from Nantang Village, Nantang Town, came to the Camellia oleifera base with a basket on his back to pick Camellia oleifera fruits. "I have been doing odd jobs outside for a few years, and I can't save a few dollars all year round, but now I can earn thousands of yuan more a year by picking oil fruits in the camellia base, not to mention, and I can take care of my family." Liu Xiaoying said happily.

In the general control room of the Camellia oleifera base, Huang Xinliang, the person in charge of the base, is holding his mobile phone to observe the growth of the newly fertilized Camellia oleifera, and a huge Camellia oleifera garden shows every corner on his mobile phone screen of more than five inches. "My handheld system is an agricultural Internet of Things system built on the 'national brand' platform of the National Agricultural Science and Technology Demonstration Park in Ganxian District, and more than 300 sensors are installed to monitor the insect conditions, seedlings and production environment and production information of crops in 18 modern agricultural bases in the region in real time, so that agricultural products can grow healthily and greenly."

"These Camellia oleifera trees were just planted last year, and they are growing quite well." Huang Xinliang introduced that the base plans to build 5000,4 acres, involving 450 villages of Dadu Village, Dukou Village, Nantang Village and Baixi Village in Nantang Town, which can provide 3000 jobs and an average annual income of 3000,1000 yuan. "Now the base has planted more than 100,5000 acres of camellia, and we adopt the online and offline sales model of 'Internet + company + base', with an annual output value of more than <> million yuan. At present, there are more than <> poverty alleviation households working in the base, and the per capita income has increased by more than <>,<> yuan. ”

According to Zeng Sangrong, Secretary of the Party Committee of Nantang Town, through the "company + cooperative + farmer" model and the "land share dividend" mechanism, the leading enterprises of camellia production took the lead in the formation of camellia planting cooperatives, and converted the farmers' forest land contracting and management rights into equity. "We take the development of the agricultural industry as an important way to promote targeted poverty alleviation, and in accordance with the 'five ones' model of 'selecting an industry, building a leader, establishing a set of interest connection mechanism, supporting a fund, and cultivating a service system', we have introduced leading enterprises in Jinxi Camellia oleifera planting and vigorously promoted the development of the Camellia oleifera industry."
