Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. and Renault Motor Co., Ltd., together with Mitsubishi Motors Corp., held a press conference in Paris, France, where they emphasized their intention to continue their collaborative relationship even after reviewing their capital relationship on an equal footing, including considering joint development of EVs in India.

Nissan, Renault and Mitsubishi Motors held their first joint press conference in Paris on June 3 after Nissan and Renault reviewed their capital relationship on an equal footing.

The three companies emphasized their intention to continue their collaborative relationship in the future.

▽ Nissan and Renault will consider joint development of EVs = electric vehicles in India,
and ▽ A new EV company established by Renault will also produce cars for Nissan and Mitsubishi Motors.

Makoto Uchida, President of Nissan, said, "We believe that as we move into the next phase of collaboration, we will benefit from different areas of innovation, and our partnership has opened a new chapter as it helps each company strengthen its strategy."

Renault CEO Luca De Meo said: "We have all the conditions to create and seize new opportunities."
