An infrastructure breakdown in Chamartín is affecting the circulation of high-speed trains that link this station with the Valencian Community and Murcia.

This was announced by Renfe at around 18:23 p.m. on Friday afternoon. According to Adif sources consulted by Europa Press, this problem has caused an average delay of 40 minutes in the circulation of high-speed trains.

Minutes before seven o'clock in the evening, the railway infrastructure manager Adif has reported that its technicians have managed to solve the incident at Madrid Chamartín Clara Campoamor, traffic is recovering and it is expected that it will gradually normalize.

For its part, Renfe has placed the breakdown, which has affected the three operators that use the station, in the signalling of detours 5 and 7 in Chamartín. The company agrees that the repair will allow traffic to normalize.
