According to LINE Yahoo Japan, a subcontractor company of Naver, a major shareholder in South Korea, was hit by a cyberattack in October, and it is believed that the system of LINE Yahoo Japan, which shares some systems with Naver, was also illegally accessed.

As a result of the company's confirmation work, there is a possibility that about 10,40 information such as information of LINE users may have been leaked.

This information includes
the age and gender of the user, the purchase history of LINE stamps, etc., as well as the e-mail addresses of employees and business partners of the company,
to the extent that the individual cannot be identified.

On the other hand, it is said that the content of the user's message, bank account and credit card information have not been leaked so far.
