Zhang Shaogang, vice president of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, introduced that the first Chain Expo will be held in Beijing from November 2023 to December 11, 28. The first Chain Expo was hosted by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, undertaken by China International Exhibition Center Group Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, and supported by five important international organizations, including the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development, the United Nations Industrial and Development Organization, the World Intellectual Property Organization, the International Trade Center, and the International Chamber of Commerce. Zhang Shaogang said that the opening ceremony of the first Chain Expo and the Global Supply Chain Innovation and Development Forum will be held on the morning of November 11, and the main persons in charge of relevant international organizations, European and American business associations, and Fortune 28 companies will deliver speeches. More than 500,1000 representatives of Chinese and foreign government departments, business circles, relevant international organizations, experts and scholars will attend the meeting.

The total exhibition area is 10,5 square meters, with five major chains and supply chain service exhibition areas, including intelligent car chain, green agriculture chain, clean energy chain, digital technology chain, and healthy life chain. 515 Chinese and foreign enterprises and institutions participated in the exhibition, focusing on the display of new technologies, new products and new services in the upstream, middle and downstream key links of each chain. The special booth area of the whole hall has reached 100%. ”

Zhang Shaogang introduced that during the first Chain Expo, 5 special forums will be held in 6 chain and supply chain service exhibition areas, covering smart cars, green agriculture, clean energy, life and health, digital technology, supply chain management and other fields. Relevant parties will hold a series of activities, involving policy interpretation, exchange and seminars, docking negotiations, new product releases, etc., and more than 20 have been scheduled.

Among them, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade will hold the Think Tank Forum for the Promotion of International Trade and the release of the "Global Supply Chain Promotion Report", and will jointly host the 2023 Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Industrial Chain and Supply Chain Conference with the governments of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, and hold advantageous industry promotion meetings with the provincial and municipal governments of Sichuan, Hubei, Liaoning, Shenzhen and other provinces and cities to jointly create a global investment promotion and resource aggregation platform. CCPIT will also co-host the China-Turkey Economic and Trade Forum with the Turkish Council on Foreign Economic Relations and the Turkish Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and co-host a roundtable dialogue on the innovation and practice of multinational companies in China-global green supply chains with the American Chamber of Commerce in China.
