ANA Holdings, a major airline, has announced that it will operate routes mainly connecting Southeast Asia under a new brand from Narita Airport from February next year.

On the 9th, the company held a press conference in Tokyo and announced details of a new brand called "Air Japan" that operates medium-range international routes.

In February next year, we plan to open a route to Southeast Asia first, and then expand a route connecting to Oceania.

There is no business class on the plane, and all seats are economy class to increase the space for each person.

In-flight meals are by reservation only.

When ordering on the same day, we will consider food loss by providing a separate menu such as freeze-drying.

Regarding pricing, Hideki Mineguchi, president of Air Japan, said at a press conference, "Prices are very important in order to secure an edge in competition with Asian airlines. We will also look at the prices of other LCCs (low-cost airlines). I want to decide," he said.

As a company, we aim to expand the use of foreign tourists visiting Japan from Southeast Asia by setting a cheap price.
