In 2022, the total income and total expenditure of the basic medical insurance fund (including maternity insurance) will be 3,069.772 billion yuan and 2,443.172 billion yuan respectively, and the accumulated fund balance at the end of the year will be 4,254.073 billion yuan.
The income of basic medical insurance funds for employees (including maternity insurance) was 2,063.718 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 8.6%, of which 1,949.457 billion yuan was collected.
Fund expenditure was 1,515.830 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 2.8%.
The cumulative balance of basic medical insurance funds for employees (including maternity insurance) at the end of the year was 3,500.383 billion yuan, of which the cumulative balance of overall planning funds was 2,147.004 billion yuan, and the cumulative balance of personal accounts was 1,353.379 billion yuan.
The income of basic medical insurance funds for urban and rural residents was 1,006.055 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 3.5%; the expenditure was 927.342 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 0.2%; the cumulative balance at the end of the year was 753.69 billion yuan.
