  China News Service, March 9th. According to the National Bureau of Statistics on the 9th, in February 2023, the national consumer price (CPI) rose by 1.0% year-on-year, and the increase was 1.1 percentage points lower than the previous month.

Among them, food prices rose by 2.6%, and non-food prices rose by 0.6%.

In food, the price of fresh fruit rose by 8.5%, affecting the increase of CPI by about 0.18 percentage points; the price of eggs rose by 7.8%, affecting the increase of CPI by about 0.05 percentage points; the price of grain rose by 2.7%, affecting the increase of CPI by about 0.05 percentage points; the price of pork rose by 3.9% %, affecting CPI to rise by about 0.05 percentage points; the price of aquatic products fell by 1.5%, affecting CPI to drop by about 0.03 percentage points.
