Main objective: to disrupt the departure of the Netanyahu couple for a visit to Italy.
The Israeli prime minister and his wife were forced to use a police helicopter to travel from Jerusalem to Ben Gurion airport besieged by thousands of opponents of judicial reform.
It is also in the terminal that Benyamin Netanyahu had to meet with Lloyd Austin, the American Secretary of Defense, on a whirlwind visit to Israel.
A day of resistance to reform.
Protesters, more than 65,000 people, blocked dozens of roads and junctions across the country.
In Tel Aviv, they managed to paralyze the highway that crosses the city for almost an hour and a half, despite the police having warned that they would not tolerate this kind of overflow.
Binyamin Netanyahu accused the opposition of rejecting dialogue and seeking anarchy.
The only anarchists in this story, retorted opposition leader Yair Lapid, are members of the government.
Protesters are now preparing for further rallies in the evening in cities across the country.
