Based on the government's policy, JR Tokai will stop calling for wearing masks on trains and stations after the 13th of this month.

Shin Kaneko, president of JR Tokai, said, "Basically, we want to leave it up to the passengers to decide on masks."

JR Tokai has been making announcements calling for people to wear masks inside trains and stations on Shinkansen and conventional lines. I decided to stop.

Also, after the 13th, it is a policy to allow seats to be rotated and sit face to face on Shinkansen and conventional line limited express trains.

Regarding this, Shin Kaneko, president of JR Tokai, said at a press conference on the 9th, "Basically, we want to leave it to the judgment of the user about masks. Until now, if a user has requested manners, we will broadcast it each time. I have responded by doing and talking, so if something happens this time, I will take the same response."

On the other hand, according to JR Tokai, station staff and train crews who serve customers will continue to wear masks.
