Regarding the "National Travel Support", a measure to stimulate tourism demand that allows discounts on travel fees, the government plans to implement it in FY2023 as long as the budget allocated to prefectures continues.

The ``National Travel Assistance'', which started in October last year, has been implemented since January this year with the discount rate for travel fees reduced from 40% to 20%.

The necessary budget has been allocated from the national government to the prefectures, but since there is still room in the budget, the Japan Tourism Agency announced on the 8th that each prefecture will receive nationwide travel support as long as the budget continues after the new year. I told him I could continue.

During the long holidays from April 29th to May 8th, when tourism demand is increasing, it is not covered, and depending on the region, it is expected that it can be implemented until early summer.

The upper limit of the discount is

▽ 5,000 yen per person per night for travel products that include lodging and transportation

▽ 3,000 yen for day trips and accommodation only.
