Data published by the Emirates Group showed that the total number of employees in the group reached 93,893 employees at the end of September of this year, compared to 73,571 employees at the end of September last year, an increase of 20,322 employees, with a growth rate of 27.6%. The total number of employees in more than 120 companies affiliated with the Emirates Group was constant at 105,730 employees, belonging to more than 160 nationalities, at the end of March 2020, before the repercussions of the “pandemic” on the global travel sector.

And "Emirates Airlines" revealed to "Emirates Today", last July, its intention to hire about 10,000 employees during the current fiscal year, which ends in March 2023, to support the "carrier" operations, and keep pace with the rapid recovery of the sector, noting that it was organized during Recently, there have been recruitment campaigns in many cities around the world.

At the time, the airline stated that it would need about 5,000 employees in the air service sector (hospitality crews), along with about 1,000 employees for flight crews, and about 1,500 jobs in the information and technology sector, in addition to job opportunities in other sectors.

The Emirates Group announced record semi-annual results (2022/2023), by the end of September of this year, with the support of the performance of Emirates Airlines, and in the first half of the current fiscal year, Emirates Airlines achieved record profits of four billion dirhams, compared to losses 5.8 billion dirhams in the same period of the last fiscal year.

Emirates Airlines continued to focus on restoring the global passenger network and its connections through its hub in Dubai, resuming services, and adding flights to meet the demand of dealers across markets.

By the end of last September 30, Emirates Airlines was operating passenger and freight flights to 140 airports, using its entire fleet of Boeing 777 aircraft and 73 A380 aircraft.

During the first six months of the current fiscal year, Emirates Airlines received two new Boeing 777 freighters, and removed one freighter from its fleet, as part of its long-term strategy to reduce emissions and operate modern, highly efficient aircraft.

And with the delay in the arrival of new passenger aircraft until 2024, Emirates Airlines began, last November, its multi-billion dollar program to modify and modernize 120 aircraft with the latest products and interior cabin designs.
