China News Agency, Beijing, December 13 (Reporter Liu Yuying) Regarding the problem of insufficient express delivery capacity in some areas reported by users, the State Post Bureau stated that China’s postal express industry has ushered in a new round of business peaks, but the current end-delivery pressure is high. The State Post Bureau calls on consumers to give more tolerance, understanding and support.

Since December, the postal express industry has accelerated its recovery and ushered in a new round of business peaks.

According to data from the State Post Bureau, from December 1st to 12th, the entire network received approximately 4.303 billion pieces, a year-on-year increase of 5.6%.

On December 12, postal and express delivery companies across the country received a total of 453 million postal (express) items, which is basically the same as the "Double 12" in 2021.

Since the "New 10 Articles" on December 7, the daily collection volume has remained above 360 million pieces.

The State Post Bureau continues to promote the work of ensuring smooth traffic.

At present, the congestion and stuck points in most parts of the country have been effectively cleared, and the industry is rapidly returning to orderly operation.

As of December 11, the nationwide shutdown of postal express distribution centers has been cleared. Only more than 400 outlets in Beijing and other places across the country are closed due to the epidemic. Postal management departments in various places are actively promoting unblocking.

Although the express delivery industry is showing a continuous recovery trend, there are still problems in some areas, such as users' perception of fast delivery, slow delivery, and untimely delivery. The main reason is that some areas have accumulated a large number of online orders due to epidemic prevention and control in the early stage. Express delivery companies need to collect and process according to the delivery rhythm of merchants.

At the same time, affected by the epidemic, express companies also have a certain employment gap, and the transportation capacity has not yet fully recovered, resulting in greater pressure on terminal delivery.

Currently, Postal Service, SF Express, JD Logistics, etc. have started the "night dispatch" mode.

Zhongtong, Yuantong, Shentong, Yunda, Jitu, Debang, etc. help grass-roots outlets restore production capacity and ensure smooth delivery channels by setting up peak season special teams, setting up support funds, strengthening personnel recruitment, and allocating the capacity of all parties.

The State Post Bureau stated that during the peak business season, the majority of couriers are busy with the epidemic, the workload is heavy, and the delivery pressure is high. In addition, the weather is cold and the outdoor work is very hard. There may be delays in the delivery service time limit. Users are requested to give more tolerance and understanding and support.
