Recently, China's first new energy vehicle testing station was officially put into use in Chongqing.

The testing station was built by the Traffic Patrol Corps of Chongqing Municipal Public Security Bureau and the China Automotive Engineering Research Institute, and built a new model combining "online + offline" for new energy vehicle safety operation performance testing.

According to data released by the Ministry of Public Security of China, as of the end of June 2022, the number of new energy vehicles in China will reach 10.01 million.

China's new energy vehicle industry has entered a new stage of accelerated development, and its production and sales have ranked first in the world for seven consecutive years.

The Traffic Patrol Corps of Chongqing Municipal Public Security Bureau stated that since there is no national-level new energy vehicle safety technology inspection standard, the safety monitoring methods for new energy vehicles "battery, motor, and electronic control" lag behind, and new energy vehicle batteries, brakes, etc. Safety issues have become a topic of social concern.

According to the relevant person in charge of the testing station, on the online side, relying on the new energy vehicle big data platform, real-time monitoring, real-time analysis, and real-time warning of the status of the car's "battery, motor, and electronic control" are sent to the testing station.

In addition to carrying out traditional project inspections, offline inspection stations focus on accurate inspections of abnormal parameters, and send new energy vehicles with problems to 4S shops or repair stations for inspection.
