A labor-management agreement was reached between PB Partners, an affiliate of SPC Group, and the National Chemical Fiber Food Industry Labor Union of the KCTU.

The KCTU Chemical Fiber Union and Phoebe Partners announced today (3rd) that they have launched the 'Social Consensus Development Council' and signed an agreement to hold labor-management meetings in the future.

Phoebe Partners is a subsidiary established the following year after the Ministry of Employment and Labor recognized the illegal dispatch of 5,300 bakers in September 2017.

After the establishment of the company, the labor and management agreed to adjust the welfare benefits and wages to the Paris Croissant level.

However, the two sides have been at odds with the union claiming that its promises are not being fulfilled and that information disclosure is not transparent.

The labor and management decided to create a social consensus development consultative body to check the contents of the agreement and to seek development plans.

In the future, we plan to listen to the voices of the KCTU, a minority union, through regular labor-management meetings.

In the meantime, the CEO apologizes for unfair labor practices that have been carried out in a way that disadvantages members of the KCTU, and the wrongdoers will be subject to personnel measures.

The two sides decided to withdraw their mutual complaints, accusations, and complaints, and the chemical fiber union decided to remove the protest tents installed around the Yangjae office building.
