　　The latest agricultural situation dispatch of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs shows that among the six major grain producing areas in my country, the growth of autumn grains in the northeast, Huanghuaihai, and northwest regions is the best in recent years, and the expansion of soybean oil crops has achieved remarkable results.

　　This year's harvest has not come easily.

　　Last year, the rare autumn rains and autumn floods in the north, the late sowing of winter wheat in large areas, the local outbreak of new coronary pneumonia, and the severe high temperature and drought in the south, brought severe challenges to food production.

　　In order to ensure a bumper harvest, a series of unprecedented policies to strengthen agriculture have been introduced one after another.

　　This year, for the first time, the central government has implemented a food security assessment of the party and government.

　　In order to motivate farmers to grow grain, the central government issued a subsidy of 120.5 billion yuan in advance for the protection of arable land, continued to increase the minimum purchase price of wheat and rice, and successively allocated a one-time subsidy of 40 billion yuan to farmers who actually grew grain, doubling the previous year.

　　With the strong joint support of focusing on agriculture and grain, this year, the area of ​​summer grain has increased by 1.38 million mu, and the early rice area has increased by 315,000 mu.

　　This year, the central government has increased investment in the construction of high-standard farmland.

By the end of September, 970 million mu of high-standard farmland had been built across the country.

　　This year, the revitalization of the seed industry has been solidly advanced. The number of national-level seed breeding bases has increased to 216, and the contribution rate of improved seeds to the increase in grain production has reached 45%.

　　Under the comprehensive measures, my country's summer grain production increased by 2.87 billion catties, early rice yields increased by 210 million catties, and the yield per unit of corn and soybeans in many major autumn grain producing areas increased significantly, and the annual grain output remained above 1.3 trillion catties.
