The striking employees of the CGT voted to extend the movement in only two depots, in Seine-Maritime and in the Rhône.

The unlocking of depots and refineries, thanks to requisitions, seems to be producing its effects.

And it should get better and better.

The strike movement at TotalEnergies is also beginning to seriously run out of steam.

Several days before a return to normal

There are only two sites left blocked.

These are the Gonfreville refinery in Seine-Maritime and the Feyzin depot in the Rhône.

In these two sites, the striking employees of the CGT voted to extend the movement early this Thursday morning.

But for how long ?

New general meetings are being held at the moment to decide what to do next.

Will the strikers hold on?

It will be difficult, especially since the national coordination of the CGT TotalEnergies is waving the white flag.

On Wednesday, an end-of-conflict exit protocol was proposed to the management, which refused it.

The group does not want to reopen negotiations.

Management recalls that a majority agreement on a salary increase was concluded last Friday with the CFDT, the CFCGC.

For motorists, the situation is clearly improving.

Of course, it will take several more days for all the pumps in the country to be filled.

But the proportion of petrol stations running out of fuel - one in five yesterday - is expected to drop further today.
