Plus twelve cents.

The average price per liter of diesel sold at service stations rose again last week, according to government figures, as supplies are disrupted by the social movement in the oil sector.

The average price was 1.92 euros including tax, returning to its level at the end of July, according to weekly figures closed last Friday.

Other fuels are also affected by price increases, although lower.

The liter of super SP95 gained 8 cents, to 1.7268 euro, the SP95-E10 more than 7 cents (1.6646 euro) just like superethanol E85 (0.7621 euro).

Fuel prices have started to rise again since the end of September after weeks of uninterrupted decline.

Two weeks ago, the price of diesel had jumped 10 cents on average.

The Minister for Energy Transition Agnès Pannier-Runacher on Friday called on distributors not to "take advantage" of the shortage, noting that prices at the pump of nearly three euros per liter are "in no way" justified despite the strike. at TotalEnergies.

While some price increases are "related to the fact that we import from abroad" and to "higher" supply costs, "this in no way justifies the pump prices of three euros", he added. she says.

The rise in fuel prices is also part of a global context linked to the decision of OPEC + to lower its future production to support prices.
