“The investigation confirmed that the Nord Stream 1 and 2 gas pipelines in the exclusive economic zone of Denmark suffered significant damage, and that the damage was caused by powerful explosions,” RIA Novosti reported.

It is noted that the investigation of the incidents was conducted by the investigative team of the Danish and Norwegian police.

As Der Spiegel journalists previously reported, Sweden did not share the results of the Nord Stream investigation with Germany and Denmark.

In Stockholm, they justified this by saying that the secrecy of its results was too high to share them with other countries.

Press Secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov noted that Europeans have yet to realize the damage to energy security from the emergency at Nord Stream.
