Market capitalization rises to 2.885 trillion dirhams

85.7 billion dirhams record gains for local shares

Dubai market rose supported by the rise of real estate, banking and transportation indices.

The local stock markets consolidated its gains at the close of trading yesterday, and its market capitalization gained 85.7 billion dirhams, supported by purchases targeting the leading stocks in various sectors.

The market capital of the listed shares rose from 2.799 trillion dirhams at the end of the day before yesterday's session, to 2.885 trillion dirhams at the end of yesterday's session.

Local shares attracted more than 1.56 billion dirhams of liquidity.

The Abu Dhabi market index "FADEX 15" rose by 3.71%, to cross the 10,000 points barrier again, to close at 10,065.24 points, achieving its highest level since last September 22.

In the Dubai Financial Market, the general index rose by 0.98%, or 33.11 points, to close at 3410.06 points, supported by the rise of the real estate sector index by 1.11%, banks by 1.07%, and transportation by 1.18%.
