His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, member of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council and head of the Abu Dhabi Executive Office, visited GITEX Technology.

During the visit, His Highness inspected the Abu Dhabi government pavilion and was briefed on the latest initiatives, which included the updated version of the application of the unified government services platform "Tamm", the internal audit platform of the Abu Dhabi Accountability Authority, as well as the smart mobility project of the Department of Municipalities and Transport - Abu Dhabi.

His Highness also visited the Ajman government pavilion and was briefed on the smart business feasibility performance system in Ajman, and the pavilion of the Advanced Electronics Company of the Saudi Arabian Military Industries Company, where he was introduced to the digital network system to protect against cyber intrusions developed by the company, as well as the pavilion of du and Etisalat. ».

His Highness was accompanied during the visit by Ali Rashid Al Ketbi, Head of the Department of Governmental Support in Abu Dhabi, Dr. Mugheer Khamis Al Khaili, Head of the Department of Community Development in Abu Dhabi, Muhammad Ali Al Shurafa, Head of the Department of Economic Development in Abu Dhabi, and Dr. Muhammad Abdul Hamid Al Askar, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Digital Authority.

The 2022 edition of the global technical event will witness the participation of the Abu Dhabi government for the 11th time through a pavilion that includes under its umbrella more than 30 government entities to display more than 100 innovative digital initiatives and projects.

The participation of the Abu Dhabi government, under the supervision and follow-up of the Higher Committee for Digital Government in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, comes in the context of its efforts to activate the framework for the governance of digital transformation at the level of the Abu Dhabi government, and to achieve a qualitative leap in the concept of providing government services and moving towards the digital future.

Ali Rashid Al Ketbi said: "GITEX is an ideal opportunity to highlight the achievements of the government's digital transformation process in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, which came as a translation of the vision of the wise leadership, which places innovation and digital transformation at the forefront of its priorities to meet the needs of society."
