From January to September, a total of 16.986 million passenger vehicles were sold, a year-on-year increase of 14.2%, and the growth rate increased by 2.5 percentage points from January to August.
Among the main types of passenger vehicles, compared with the same period of the previous year, basic passenger vehicles (sedans) and sport utility vehicles (SUVs) maintained rapid growth, while the other two types of vehicles showed varying degrees of decline.
