Gray smoke billows around the high-rise building.

The smoke is all over the surrounding factory area.

Urgent sirens echo throughout the city.

The Samsung logo was clearly visible on the top, and the glass windows at the bottom of the building were shattered and torn, revealing the inside of the building.

It is a resident building of Samsung Electronics in Kiiu, Ukraine, and a Russian missile was found to have landed about 150 meters away from the building.

It was not directly hit, but the building was severely damaged in the aftermath of the airstrike.

Samsung Electronics' local sales corporation and research institute are located in this building, and before the war, many of our expatriates worked there.

Samsung Electronics said in a call with SBS that there were no casualties.

Our expatriates and their families have already evacuated to safe neighboring countries such as Poland after the outbreak of the war, and it has been found that local employees in Ukraine are also evacuating because an air raid warning has been issued.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also believes that there has been no damage to local citizens living abroad.

As indiscriminate air strikes on civilian areas resumed, even foreign companies in Ukraine are suffering heavy losses.

Korean companies that have entered Ukraine are also concerned about the safety of local employees and additional damage to their remaining assets, as all businesses have been shut down due to the war.
