According to this, regarding the menu of representative electricity rates for corporations, we will formulate a new menu in response to soaring fuel prices and will raise the price from April next year.

The specific price setting will be considered in the future, but the amount of price increase will be decided based on the increase in the proportion of coal in fuel and the price trend of electricity procured on the wholesale market.

On the other hand, part of the Kashiwazaki-Kariwa nuclear power plant in Niigata Prefecture, which the government is aiming to restart after next summer, saying that it is impossible to pass on the increase in fuel prices to customers without factoring in nuclear power generation at all. We would like to reduce the range of price increases on the premise of operation.

At a press conference on the 16th, President Kobayakawa said, "At this point in time, there is no specific forecast for restarting the plant, and the understanding of the local community remains a major prerequisite for restarting the plant."
