Peskov also said that now there is reason for moderate optimism. 

He noted that "rather titanic work" is being carried out in order to stabilize the economy against the backdrop of hostile actions towards Russia from the Western countries.

Earlier, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said that the Russian side had long adapted to existence under sanctions.

In June, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin announced a difficult period for the economy to adapt in the face of sanctions.
