China News Service, August 31st. According to the "Voice of National Energy" public account on the 31st, the National Energy Group achieved historical breakthroughs in power generation and thermal power coal supply in August.
Data show that in August, the National Energy Group’s daily power generation exceeded 4 billion kWh for the first time for four consecutive days, the monthly power generation reached 120 billion kWh for the first time in history, and the supply of thermal power and coal has historically exceeded 50 million tons.
As of August 29, the National Energy Group's commercial coal resources reached 55.12 million tons, of which self-produced coal completed 46.94 million tons, an increase of 5.07 million tons or 12.1% year-on-year.
In response to the demand for power supply in the Sichuan-Chongqing region, the General Dispatching Office of the National Energy Group laid out a daily supply increase plan, urgently coordinated the transportation capacity of the National Railway, and supplied an additional 460,000 tons to the Sichuan-Chongqing region, a year-on-year increase of 140%.
