Public transport throughout Germany has never been as cheap as it has been in the past three months.

9 euros per month: That's a real bargain price for a service that normally costs around 70 euros on average.

No wonder only a few want to do without the 9-euro ticket, even if the amount for the state (and the taxpayer) cannot be borne in the long term.

But it would be a pity if another unbeatable argument got lost in the discussion: For many users it was also pleasant not to have to waste any unnecessary thoughts on the applicable tariff zone.

When you look at the map of the transport and tariff associations in Germany, any nagging about the patchwork quilt of the Corona measures should be silenced.

It is absurd how much small-stateism Germany allows itself to be in this area.

Normal users outside of the big metropolises (and transport associations) can no longer see through it.

The lesson to be learned from the 9-euro ticket must therefore be: keep it simple!
